International Sales Manager
For our client, an innovative and entrepreneurial Swiss-based company and segment leader for the international railway sector, we are currently searching a new:
International Sales Manager (m/f)
In this exciting role you will be responsible for promoting and selling power equipment mainly for railway networks on specific international markets. You will actively analyse and identify new sales opportunities and market trends. Participation to trade exhibitions is a key activity for promoting the products and services as well as generating business leads. Proactive prospecting for sales projects at existing and new customers forms a key part of your activities. For tenders and RFPs, you will translate customer needs and applications into technical-commercial proposals. You will take the lead in contract negotiations and closing. Finally, you are in charge of managing designated customer relationships.
You are an electrical engineer (Bsc/MSc. level) who acquired more than 7-10 years of sales experience pertaining to electrical components or electrical systems on international markets dealing with key accounts. Fluency in English and German is a must, French and Spanish a plus. You have an entrepreneurial, goal-oriented mind-set and bring strong competences in customer relationship development, negotiation and self-organisation. You are also passionate about solving complex technical problems. Frequent international travel (approx. 25%) is required.
